Many of the maxillofacial procedures are performed in a hospital setting and Dr. Bolourian performs those procedures at Memorial Care Medical Center.

TMJ and Skeletal Problems

Maxillofacial surgeons like Dr. Bolourian are trained to correct skeletal problems such as misaligned jaws also known as orthognathic surgery.

If you have chronic pain in your TMJ , you may have a condition known as TMD (temporomandibular disease). Dr. Bolourian is one of the few surgeons in Orange County, California that treats all aspect of TMJ diseases conservatively or if needed surgically. Cysts, tumors and lumps and bumps of the face, neck, and jaw are often removed by maxillofacial surgeons.  We have the specialized training to remove the tumor without damaging the delicate nerves that run throughout your head and neck.
