Brow Lift

Dr. Bolourian performs Brow Lift and Forehead Lift to raise eyebrows and reduce ridges and furrows on the forehead, thus creating a smoother, more youthful appearance. This procedure can be performed in conjunction with other surgeries or alone for a more youthful and natural facial appearance. Brow lift maybe performed using different approach and is primarily tailored to your goals and facial anatomy. The most common approach to brow lift performed by Dr. Bolourian is the minimally invasive techniques called Endoscopic Brow Lift, which allow us to perform Forehead Lifting through small incisions in the scalp by using a camera and specialized instruments. This approach allows for beautifully shaped eyebrows with fast recovery. Having a brow lift can help correct issues such as:

  • Low, sagging brows that make you appear angry or tired
  • Pronounced creases or folds horizontally in your forehead
  • Frown line between your eyes and above your nose
  • Extra skin or drooping tissue above your eyes

Endoscopic browlift is less invasive and requires fewer incisions than the traditional procedure, the recovery time is usually shorter. The endoscopic or “endo” browlift is done using much smaller incisions placed in the scalp.  A small camera is used to visualize the dissection, and the brow elevation is done using a very small fixation screw. Endoscopic browlifts will not distort the hairline and leave only very small scars. For appropriate patients, a browlift can rejuvenate the face in a natural and beautiful way.

Coronal (pretrichial) Brow Lift

The coronal brow lift is the classic version, drawing an incision along the hairline. These procedures may be appropriate for those with lower foreheads with the added benefit of lifting the hairline. The incision is carefully placed within the hairline so that once the forehead is fully healed, the scar would be inconspicuous. Also, while healing our patients can easily hide the scars with having their hair down over their forehead.

Endoscopic Brow Lift

During this procedure, a small endoscope attached to a camera is used so that Dr. Bolourian may closely monitor the anatomy and the location of nerves while using specialized equipment to perform the procedure. An endoscopic brow lift involves smaller incisions and the recovery is shorter.
